What are some lifestyle tweaks I can make for a flatter belly?

Many people believe that if you just exercise, a sculpted body will appear. However, all the exercise in the world won't matter if you don't eat healthy.

For example, to get a healthy and flatter tummy, you may want to consider getting ample amounts of fiber, potassium, probiotics, and drinking plenty of water. You may also want to eat less sodium and avoid sugar and alcohol.

How dangerous is lap band surgery and what is the recovery time like?

Laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding (LAGB) is a massive surgical procedure that places an adjustable belt around the upper part of your stomach. LAGB restricts the size of your stomach, which restricts the amount of food it can hold, and slows down the passage of food to your intestine.

With any surgery there are risks, but with the lap-band surgery, the risks include infection where the incision was, bleeding, blood clots, a nutritional deficiency, GERD, band slippage, bowel function changes, nausea, and vomiting.

Do I really need extra vitamin D?

If you're healthy and you aren't currently getting treatment for any medical problems, you don't need to take vitamin D.

However, people who might need extra vitamin D include postmenopausal women, elderly people, individuals with chronic kidney disease and parathyroid disease, and women and men on long-term steroids.
