Body Beauty: Celebrities Aren't Immune to Body Image Challenges

Body Beauty: Celebrities Aren't Immune to Body Image Challenges
In today's society, if you're not a size zero and don't have a perfect complexion, there's something "wrong" with you.

Don't like how you look in a picture? There are several apps and filters, as well as makeup tricks, to change your real appearance.

Even celebrities who don't fit under the "perfect" image can be photoshopped in order to fit under these standards.

Or, if you're struggling with your weight, there are crazy (and unsafe) ways to drastically reduce your size, including waist training, restricting your caloric intake, and celebrity-endorsed teatoxes.

Suffering with body image issues (having a negative mental image of your own body and doing everything you can to change it) can take a toll on your mental, emotional, and physical health.

Listen in as Heather Thompson shares the ups and downs she experienced through her health journey.
