Gaytri Gandotra, MD is a Nephrologist, otherwise known as a kidney specialist. She currently practice here in sunny Southern California and has her own private office clinic where she see's patients.

She believes that conditions such as kidney disease, diabetes and hypertension can be prevented or slowed with early detection and treatment. Her motivation stemmed from witnessing her patients struggle with the transition from chronic kidney disease to dialysis or kidney transplantation. She focus's on modifying behavior and thought patterns to produce long-term, rather than short term results. Her goal is to educate and empower patients so that they will facilitate their own treatments sooner rather than later. So, her motto "the more you know, the better you do" holds true for everything in life, including your health.
