Featured Speaker:
Corry Ann Varner, CNM
Corry Varner, chose to go into Women's Health because she wanted to both empower women and teach them about their bodies. Instead of dictating any specific plan of care to her patients, she enjoys educating and guiding them so that they feel confident to make the right choices for themselves.

Corry has been a nurse-midwife for more than ten years. In 2007, she earned a Masters in Nursing with a specialty in Midwifery/Women's Health from California State University, Fullerton, and has been working as a Certified Nurse Midwife since. Continuing her education, in 2014 she earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and completed her training at Kaiser Permanente in Riverside. She had an article published in ‘The Journal of Perinatal Education’ on physiological birth - comparing hypnobirth and the Bradley method.

When Corry is not at work, she spends time with her family. Additionally, she enjoys traveling, reading, wake boarding, and going sand duning in Glamis, part of the Imperial Sand Dunes located near the California-Mexico border.

MemorialCare Medical Group recently welcomed a group of OB/GYN physicians and midwives including Corry to their Fountain Valley office. We are thrilled to have her on our show today. Welcome Corry.
