Jeffrey Lai, MD is board certified in both Family and Sports Medicine and practices as a Primary Care Sports Medicine specialist in Long Beach, California. His clinical focus includes general medical care of athletes at all levels, general musculoskeletal care, sports physicals, sports concussions, and musculoskeletal procedures especially involving ultrasound guidance for joint and soft tissue injections.

Dr. Lai is a full-time faculty physician with MemorialCare Medical Group; founder and director of the Long Beach Memorial Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship; Head Team Physician for nearby California State University, Long Beach; and volunteer team physician for Cypress Community College.

Dr. Lai is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
