Dr. Douglas W. Harley is a 2002 graduate from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Post-residency he served the underserved population in Youngstown, Ohio as a practicing physician and medical director for a Federally Qualified Health Center. Planning a trip abroad can be a fun and exciting time. However, it can also be overwhelming if you're traveling to an area where specific vaccines are required before you go.
Not all countries require you to get a vaccination, but if you are required, the vaccinations depend on where you're going, the season or time of the year you're traveling, where you're staying (rural or urban area), what you'll be doing on your stay, your age and health, and how long you'll be staying.
