Nutrition & Cardiovascular Disease: Taking the DIE Out of DIET

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the number-one killer of Americans today. It's also a global problem, coming in as the single largest cause of death in developed countries.

Dr. Kim A. Williams, Sr., has been quoted as saying, “There are two kinds of cardiologists: vegans and those who haven’t read the data.”

He believes that the solution for overcoming this devastating disease begins with personal responsibility. It’s about what you put in your mouth.

Dr. Williams has been a vegan since 2003. In this episode, he joins Dr. Friedman to share why veganism is the answer to healthier hearts, all across the world.
