Dr. Maytal grew up in Israel and New York City. He graduated with high honors from Harvard College, and attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Maytal completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), a residency in Adult Psychiatry at the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Program, and a Fellowship in Psycho-oncology and Psychosomatic Medicine at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
