This Is What Wellness Looks Like in the Era of COVID-19
The counterculture of the Sixties and the Seventies is remembered chiefly for music, fashion, art, feminism, computing, black power, cultural revolt and the New Left.

But an until-now unexplored, yet no less important aspect -- both in its core identity and in terms of its ongoing significance and impact -- is its relationship with health.

Matthew Ingram's new book, Retreat: How the Counterculture Invented Wellness, is a discussion of those wellness methodologies which the counterculture introduced (mainly from the east and eastern philosophy) into mainstream culture.

Ingram joins Dr. Peeke to explain insights from the book, as well as how this all fits within our "new" existence during the COVID-19 pandemic.
