Are You Addicted to Exercise?
You've heard it time and time again: exercise is good for you.

It can even be instrumental in the prevention of very serious, very deadly diseases.

You know you're supposed to exercise as often as you can. For many individuals that means three, four, maybe five times a week.

For some individuals, however, "enough exercise" means working out three or four times a day.

This extreme exercise can be a problem, and can actually be addictive.

So, what if exercise has become something that you have to do for your mental health? That is, what if it becomes so powerful in your daily routine, that you feel you need it to stay sane and functional?

In this segment of Train Your Body, special guest, Dr. Michele Olson, PhD, FACSM, explains the dangers of extreme exercise, as well as how to recognize the signs indicating you (or someone you love) might be addicted to working out.
