No Nonsense Medicine
Medicine and health can be very confusing at times. Doctors often speak to you in very technical terms, insurance and medical bills can be extremely confusing and the array of treatment options can be downright dizzying.

Fortunately, you can use some key strategies to achieve "no nonsense" medicine.

Special guest, Dr. Partha Nandi, joins Andrea and Lisa to share some of these tactics.

Most importantly, it's essential to realize that you need to be an advocate for your own health. There’s not only one way to do things. You can effectively combine both Western and Eastern medicine for incredible results. Also, if you're just not feeling right about a diagnosis or treatment option, get a second opinion -- it's your right as the patient.

Another tip Dr. Nandi offers is to use the Internet wisely. It can be a very helpful supportive tool... but always follow-up with your healthcare provider before self-medicating.

Prevention is critical for good health, and your nutrition becomes a huge part of that. Aim for the healthiest foods possible.

Learn about these key tips and more with Dr. Nandi.
