Calm, Cool & Collected: Solutions to Organize Your Life
With distractions from jobs, relationships, aging parents, children, finances, etc., it's not always easy to feel calm, cool and collected.

So, how can you make sure you stay centered and organized throughout your day?

In this segment of Naturally Savvy, special guest and author, Jennifer Louden, joins Andrea to explain how she defines "organization" in her life, as well as simple ways you can keep on an even keel despite all of life's hiccups.

One of Jennifer's key messages is actively choosing to center yourself for just a few moments when you're most stressed throughout the day.

During these times, you might reach for "shadow comforts" -- things you find help you escape the situation or mitigate the feelings of stress (i.e. chocolate, Starbuck's latte). You can allow yourself to have these, but first take a moment to pause, and enlist a memory of when you felt really calm and organized.

Linger on the memory and savor it and then ask yourself, "What do I really want?" or "What's most important to me?" Then, notice what you're choosing and recognize the reason why.

Jennifer also advises to do the things you have to do, but with a whole different attitude. Even choosing a positive attitude can go a long way.

You can change how you see things so you make better choices. For instance, live your values from the inside-out. This will help make your life flow without the stressful, "freak outs" that interrupt, and will also keep your brain, nervous system, heart and body calm.

Overall, Jennifer suggests that you be ever so mindful with your brain and your body.
