Lifting Weights Can Improve Your Memory
Need another reason to hit the gym?

Recent studies show that an intense workout of as little as 20 minutes can enhance episodic memory, also known as long-term memory for previous events, by about 10 percent in healthy young adults.

Though the study used weighted exercises, it's believed that other resistant exercises such as deep knee bends and squats could produce the same results.

Listen in as John P. Higgins, MD, explains theses benefits and gives us all another great reason to hit the weights.
