Live Long, Die Short: Simple Steps for Living Your Healthiest Life
There's a buzz phrase hitting the health circuit: sitting is the new smoking.

What exactly does that mean?

Studies have shown that the risk for disease and early death is as high (or higher) for someone who lives a sedentary lifestyle as it is for a chronic smoker. Even if you exercise every day, but then go sit at your work desk for eight-plus hours, you're still at this heightened risk.

Dr. Roger Landry is a retired, highly-decorated full colonel, former chief flight surgeon at the Air Force Surgeon General’s Office in Washington and a preventive medicine physician who has spent over a decade smashing stereotypes of aging and redefining the possibilities of older adulthood.

Dr. Landry joins Dr. Susanne to share doable, simple steps you use to make sure you're living your healthiest life.

Dr. Landry also explains what he means by the title of his book, Live Long, Die Short.
