CBD: What It Is, How It Works & What to Look For
With so many products and new cannabidiol (CBD) companies suddenly appearing on the market, it’s important to know what to look for, and whom you can trust.

Barlean’s, a 30-year old family-owned maker of healthy oils in the Pacific Northwest, introduced CBD Hemp Oil in early 2018 and has been working hard to help educate retailers and consumers about CBD.

For example, consumers oftentimes confuse the different sources of CBD, thinking a hemp-based product will get them "high" because hemp and marijuana come from the same plant family. That is not true.

CBD actually has very low THC -- less than 0.3% -- which is why CBD doesn’t make people feel high. In fact, CBD can actually counteract the feeling of being high caused by THC.

Listen as Ola Lessard, Vice President of Marketing for Barlean's, joins host Andrea Donsky to explain the health benefits of CBD, as well as debunk some myths and misunderstandings surrounding CBD.
