Help! Your Kid Looks at Porn: What's a Parent to Do?
Pornography is all over the internet and easily attainable by minors, which raises the inevitable question: What should parents do about it?

Realistically, how concerned should you be?

Just because your child has viewed pornography doesn't mean he or she is going to turn out be a sex addict. You probably viewed porn when you were younger and you turned out just fine!

Dr. Marty Klein, PhD, is a certified sex therapist that has studied the affects of porn on children. Dr. Klein says that, "Parents do really need to talk with their kids about porn. It’s everywhere, and kids are going to encounter it—intentionally, or accidentally, or through their friends. It isn’t ideal that kids consume porn, but if they do, they need adult guidance."

You clearly don't want your first conversation with your child about sex to be regarding porn, so if you already have conversations with them about sex, the conversation about porn will be a lot easier (although it will probably still be awkward).

How does pornography affect children's ideas about: men, women, sexuality and relationships?

Dr. Klein joins Dr. Pam and Michelle to share ideas on how you can talk to your kids about porn, as well as what exactly you should discuss.
