What’s the Most Important Relationship of Your Life?

What’s the Most Important Relationship of Your Life?
You've probably heard how it's important to love yourself. You may initially think that it sounds egocentric to say that the most important relationship in life is with yourself... but it truly is the one you should value the most.

Everyone wants to have successful and healthy relationships with their family members, friends and significant others, but often find that to be easier said than done. As much as you want to find love and improve your relationships, marriages, etc., you may still struggle in doing so.

But when you take care of your well-being, it has a positive effect on you and your relationships. Studies have shown that individuals who take care of themselves are happier.

When you are happier, you are generally a kinder, more caring person, better at being in a relationship and can even become more attractive to others.

It's important that when you become stressed or emotional, you immediately address the problem and try to find a solution. In other words, you do not wait for someone or something else to make your problem go away. You take care of YOU.

By making yourself your biggest priority, you will find that the key to successful relationships is to first have one with yourself.

Dr. Tracy Thomas, PhD, reveals how you should go about having a deeper understanding of who you are as a person and the positive results you can experience by putting yourself first.
