How often should I do cardio each week?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all adults should engage in at least two and a half hours of moderate aerobic activity per week.

What happens to your body when you eat too much sugar?

Consuming too much sugar can lead to irritability, mood changes, weight gain, heart trouble, obesity, and diabetes.

When your body consumes sugar, it's turned into glucose, a simple sugar found in your blood. If you drink an eight-ounce soda or eat a candy bar, your sugar levels immediately spike, causing dopamine to release in your brain and resulting in a "sugar high."

While you're feeling great and untouchable, the other organs in your body are slowly suffering.

The scary part happens when you try to wean yourself off sugar. Depending on how much sugar you are consuming, your withdrawal symptoms can vary and include headaches, mood swings, and even the shakes.

What are the most important medical screening tests for women?

Making sure you keep up with medical testing is crucial. In your 30s, you should be getting a full gynecological exam, your skin check, and an eye exam.

In your 40s, you should check for diabetes, get a mammogram, and test your vitamin D levels.

In your 50s, you should get a colonoscopy, a thyroid test, and a bone density test.
