The title on this one says it all. Today we are talking to Elana Duffy - a US Army veteran who made the brave decision to amputate her leg after an attack while serving in Iraq.

She was medically retired with a Purple Heart following combat tours in OEF and OIF, eventually returning home to NYC to found Pathfinder Labs - which connects veterans to resources near them.

Elana tells us what she remembers from the attack, her road to recovery and resilience.

A US Army veteran, she was medically retired with a Purple Heart following combat tours in OEF and OIF, eventually returning home to NYC to found Pathfinder Labs.
