Navigating An Extraordinary Life Transition

Dr. Pam finds many of her guests from their outstanding profiles in the Wall Street Journal. And that's the case with today's guest Wynne Nowland.

Wynne was recently featured in the publication after coming out as transgender to the company she runs. Wynne is the CEO of Bradley & Parker, a privately held insurance, risk management, and financial services firm. She did this just weeks after her 56th birthday.

in this episode, Wynne tells us about life since she sent that email out to her staff, the highs and lows of the public's reception, how her background as a business leader helped during her transition, and the importance of public education when it comes to discussing transgender people.

Find her WSJ article "What Happened When a CEO Came Out as Transgender" here.
