Michael Roizen, M.D., is chief wellness officer and chair of the Wellness Institute of the Cleveland Clinic. He is the creator of the RealAge Test, as well as co-founder and chairman of the RealAge Scientific Advisory Board. Along with Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Roizen authored The New York Times No. 1 best-sellers “YOU: On a Diet” and “YOU: The Owner’s Manual,” as well as The New York Times best-seller “YOU: The Smart Patient.” He has published more than 165 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 100 textbook chapters, 30 editorials and four medical books and has edited six medical journals. Mehmet Oz, M.D., is professor and vice chairman of surgery at Columbia University, as well as medical director of the Integrated Medicine Center and director of the Heart Institute at New York Presbyterian/Columbia Medical Center. His research interests include heart replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complementary medicine and health care policy. He has authored more than 400 original publications, book chapters, abstracts and books, and has received several patents. Dr. Oz is the co-author of The New York Times No. 1 best-sellers “YOU: On a Diet” and “YOU: The Owner’s Manual,” as well as The New York Times best-seller “YOU: The Smart Patient” and “YOU: Staying Young,” with Dr. Roizen. Dr. Oz received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University, his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and MBA from Wharton School of Business.
