Why You Need Healthy Air
Even though you may think urban areas are more polluted, the truth is pollution is everywhere.

No matter where you live, the quality of the air you breathe impacts you every single day.

Air pollution is the contamination of smoke and harmful gases, like oxides of carbon, sulfur, and nitrogen.

Air pollution can come from numerous sources, such as factories, cars, and smoke; all of which release a wide variety of pollutants affecting air quality.

What can you do to protect yourself and your family from pollution?

Listen in as Assistant Vice President, National Policy of the American Lung Association, Janice Nolen, shares why healthy air is important.
