Preventing Common Athletic Injuries
Throughout the school year, your child might have sparked an interest in playing in several sports. Even though this physical activity is great, as a parent you may be a little on edge and worry about your child's risk of injury.

While it's impossible to completely eliminate the risk of injury during sports participation, many injuries sustained during training and competition are avoidable... especially those injuries related to simply doing too much too often.

What are some of the most common injuries, and is there a way to prevent them from happening?

Jennifer Trpkovski, DO, shares common athletic injuries and how you can help prevent them.
