Melanoma Cancer: Prevention & Treatment
Recently, former President Jimmy Carter shared with the world that doctors found melanoma in his brain. There are several types of skin cancer, melanoma being the most serious form.

Skin cancer is caused by the abnormal growth of your skin cells in areas that may have been overly-exposed to the sun (your face, scalp, ears, chest, arms, hands, legs, and palms).

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, each year in the U.S., five million people are treated for skin cancer.

How can you protect yourself from skin cancer?

Omeed Memar, MD, PhD, shares everything you need to know on how to prevent and treat melanoma.
