Klein, MD, PhD, is a research scientist at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research; co-director of the Kaiser Permanente Vaccine Study Center; and clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatrics, Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Klein received her medical and doctorate degrees at New York University School of Medicine.
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most commonly detected sexually transmitted infection in women.   Recent findings completely support the general safety of this routine vaccination in your Doctors office to prevent cervical and other genital and reproductive cancers.
