Marcus, M.B.B.Ch. is  a pediatric pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician.  She is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania, and Director of the Sleep center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Dr. Marcus is a Deputy Associate Editor for the journal Sleep, and has authored  more than 85 research articles and more than 45 reviews and book chapters. 

Sleep disturbances, including Obstructive Sleep Apnea syndrome (OSAS), are common in children and can result in significant health problems if left untreated.

OSAS can result in problems such as behavioral issues, cardiovascular problems, poor growth and developmental delays. Treatments are available that can result in significant improvements in these complications.
