Kids who miss too much school miss out on education basics that support them in later years. Absentee kids may be more susceptible to illness and risky behavior.

Absences are unavoidable at times. Parents should be aware of how absentees add up. Your child will do best when missing two or fewer days per month.

Impart the importance of school attendance to your children.

Listen as Dr. Mandy Allison joins Melanie Cole, MS, to discuss school attendance.
