How Social Media Has Changed the Fitness Space
Social media presents challenges for those trying to get fit. With filters, Photoshop and airbrushing, it’s hard to tell what results are actually attainable.

Fitness expert Joel Freeman has been involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years. He’s noticed that social media has made it too easy to compare oneself with the “perfect” bodies they see on social networks. This makes it tough to realistically set and achieve fitness goals.

Fitness goals must match your lifestyle. Consider the demands on your time outside of the gym before trying to commit to an impossible workout schedule. If you love pizza, you may not achieve your high school weight in six weeks.

For drastic changes, enroll in a program that consists of intensive exercise and a diet plan. Stick to the program to see results. Adopt a post-program fitness and nutrition plan to maintain your results.

Listen as Joel joins host Lisa Davis to discuss fitness goals, social media’s impact on working out, and the Beachbody® CORE DE FORCE™ program.
