LizLiz Sanders, MPH, RDN, is Program Manager for Food Safety Communications at the International Food Information Council. Her role at IFIC focuses primarily on food ingredient, food technology, and food safety communications. This year, she has taken a lead role in the planning and promotion of the 2015 IFIC Foundation Food and Health Survey. As a registered dietitian trained in public health, she has previous experience communicating the science of food and nutrition in a wide array of settings. Liz received her undergraduate degree in biology from Oberlin College, and a Master of Public Health (with Registered Dietitian training)from the coordinated program at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Liz is also an avid performer of improv comedy.
Survey Says: Americans Think They Are Fit

According to a study done by the International Food Administration Council, 57% of Americans rate their own health as very good or excellent, yet 55% of that group is either overweight or obese.
