Bill started piano lessons at three years old. He grew up playing and performing and realized very early on that the discipline of playing the piano was also a behavioral healthcare practice. After seeking non-traditional audiences, he began to understand the true healing power of music. This includes Alzheimer’s patients and people struggling with physical or emotional injuries, stressed-out business people, parents, and caregivers. In 2011, he launched Music Care Inc, a for-purpose corporation that teaches practical ways music can be used for self-care. His work has received an Award of Excellence by the National Council for Behavioral Health, the equivalent of an “Oscar.”
He is a successful IT entrepreneur who holds magna cum laude degrees in piano performance and creative writing. He’s an Associate member of the American Music Therapy Association and a member of the Healing Music Organization.
