According to a 2018 poll by the American Psychiatric Association, anxiety is on the rise in the U.S. and women are disproportionately affected.

In fact, a survey by EverydayHealth.com, found among 3,000 women, 50 percent said stress and anxiety are one of the top factors currently affecting their personal wellness. What’s more, more than 80 percent said they don't get a good night's rest on a daily basis.

Health journalist Julie Revelant suffers with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and as a busy working mom of two, she experience a fair share of stress as well.
