Curing Acid Reflux & Indigestion: It's NOT Too Much Stomach Acid
Acid reflux and indigestion are very common ailments in this day and age, evidenced by the hundreds of TV commercials and other advertisements that showcase over-the-counter and prescription drugs used to treat the condition.

Typically, that method of treatment works by suppressing or eliminating "excess acid."

However, too much acid is not the root cause and suppressing it or eliminating it is not the cure.

You actually need acid to help digest your food effectively. When you can't digest your food, it just sits in your stomach and after an hour or so your stomach hits the "return to sender" button.

The key is proper digestion.

Along with acid, you also need enzymes to effectively digest the food you eat. Unfortunately, many of the fast foods and processed foods you and your family members eat do not contain these essential enzymes.
