About Marsha

Marsha Stone is a world-renowned speaker, author, visionary, and respected leader in the field of addiction recovery. She’s also the founder of BRC Healthcare.

With her leadership, BRC Recovery has expanded its pioneer reputation and lives fully into its purpose of Bringing Real Change to the face of addiction treatment for over 15 years.

Marsha is a subject matter expert and energetic force for change. Marsha regularly speaks at top industry conferences around the world and frequently appears on various media outlets including A&E Intervention, Dr. Phil, and The Doctors, in addition to hosting the RadioMD podcast “Rewiring Your Life” with Erica Spiegelman. Marsha serves as spokesperson for NFL Hall of Fame Behavioral Health, The HART Foundation, and The Mark Houston Recovery Scholarship Foundation.

Marsha is the co-author of the Rewired Workbook (2017) published by Hatherleigh Press. In 2022, Scribe Media will publish Marsha’s autobiography, The How & Why. 

Marsha holds a Juris Doctorate with the distinction of Academic Excellence from North Carolina Central University, a Bachelor of Arts in English from Elizabeth City State University, and is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas.

Erica Spiegelman is an author, addiction and wellness specialist, and motivational speaker who works with individuals, couples, and families on personal growth and overall wellness. 

Erica provides a holistic approach to helping people overcome their struggles with addictions and dependency and gives them the tools they need to create healthy lives for themselves.

Erica is the author of Rewired: A Bold New Approach to Addiction & Recovery (2015), the Rewired Workbook (2017), and the Rewired Coloring Book (2017), all published by Hatherleigh Press.

In 2018, Hatherleigh Press published The Rewired Life, which provides people with practical ways to rewire their brains, change their habits, and achieve their goals. The Rewired Life has been praised by experts in the field as an “honest,” “inspirational,” and “authentic” book that offers “something for everyone.”

In 2019, Hatherleigh Press published The Rewired Life Workbook. A companion piece to The Rewired Life, Erica’s new book features discussion questions, group and individual activities, and intuitive self-inventories to help better understand and reprogram harmful behaviors and negative mindsets. 

In 2022, Hatherleigh Press will publish Erica’s book of recovery-focused affirmations designed to provide a framework for developing positive self-talk habits.

Erica holds a bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of Arizona and is a California State Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADAC)-II from UCLA. A regular contributor to online health outlets, TV news shows, Erica also writes for health and wellness blogs, including Poosh.
