Fat loss is a metabolic state in which your body sustains a large amount of lean muscle mass and naturally burns fat. When your hormones are in balance, the body naturally regulates fat burning, appetite control, and mood swings so your cravings disappear while your motivation soars.
This is not the same as weight loss.
You may be losing numbers on your scale, but your body shape is staying the same.
Exercise and dieting can help to shed unwanted pounds at first, but eventually the scale will get stuck and your frustration will grow.
The tricky thing about dieting is that eventually it will stop working. Dieting restricts the food intake that your body is used to. At first, the pounds may shed but sooner or later you will stop losing weight and possibly gain it all back.
Your diet is probably not the right regimen your body needs in order to achieve your desired results. You can't expect to use the elliptical for an hour every day, still eat poorly and expect your weight to drop.
