Injury Prevention: Getting Ready for Fall Sports
For many kids, playing sports is an important part of growing up.

Parents play a vital role in preparing their children to train and condition properly.

Improvements in the quality of protective equipment—such as padding and helmets—have made sports participation safer than ever before. Even so, young bodies are still vulnerable to injury.

With proper conditioning and training, parents can help reduce injuries.

Dr. David Hill and Melanie Cole, MS, discuss how you can help reduce injuries and ensure your child gets the most out of sports and physical education.
