If you've ever had a goal or a dream in life, upon realizing that dream you may have actually felt a little disappointed in the aftermath.
Instead of the smooth sailing that you might have expected, you may have found yourself facing even more difficulties.
That is what Aleta St. James discovered upon finally having children (twins) at the age of 57. Kids were something she had dreamed of; but she soon realized that there were going to be many more hurdles down the road.
Aleta began to realize that life is a continuum; once you get something that you really want it doesn't mean that there won't be challenges to face.
Once you accept that, you can embrace a "life shift."
This shift involves being grounded and centered in spiritual practices, dealing with the nutritional elements within your body, releasing the mental and emotional blocks that are negative (both subconscious and conscious)... all so that you can align with your higher spiritual self and constantly manifest the next phase of your life.
Aleta believes that your "emotional body" is imprinted in every cell of your physical body from your subconscious mind. What you might feel in terms of hurt and rejection now may be triggered from earlier times in your life when you experienced that same emotion.
The important thing is to be honest with yourself and what you're focusing or "looping" on. For instance, if you're constantly feeling rejected, are you rejecting yourself? Are you hyper-critical about yourself and lack love for yourself?
The block becomes YOU.
How can you address these negative thoughts and feelings?
When it all comes down to it, there are really only two emotions: fear and love.
The negative thoughts almost always come from fear.
So, when you have these feelings, stop, breathe and ask yourself, "What am I feeling?" Whatever the feeling is, you need to tell yourself, "This feeling is not a FACT."
The key is in releasing the negative, fearful thoughts and embracing the potential for a positive, loving reality.
Try to imagine and focus on being loved and solving the problem that you were previously holding on to. If you renew yourself and keep moving forward instead of getting "stuck" in the negative thoughts and emotions, you can heal yourself both emotionally and physically.
In this segment, Aleta joins Andrea and Lisa to discuss what a life shift is, as well as real techniques you can use to achieve a happy, healthy life.
