Extinguish the Fire of Inflammation with these Healthy Foods
Inflammation comes in two forms: acute and chronic.

You might be all too familiar with the acute kind; it's what you see when you stub your toe or get a splinter.

But, the chronic kind is a whole different story.

Chronic inflammation is often called a "silent killer." It damages the vascular walls and is a factor in every single degenerative disease, including heart disease, Alzheimer's, diabetes, cancer, and obesity. It's also a big factor in less "life-threatening" diseases like asthma, acne, migraines and arthritis.

Chronic inflammation flies beneath the radar. It doesn't manifest any symptoms, but it kills you by injuring the vascular system in a subtle but consistent way. It disrupts the flow of blood. It damages the walls of the arteries. And, it's a factor in every disease known to man.

Reducing inflammation is one of the most important health strategies for longevity and good health.

What are ways to ease inflammation?

Jonny Bowden, PhD, joins Melanie Cole, MS, to discuss inflammation, as well as the ways you can ease your symptoms.
