Why does my skin get so dry in the winter?

As the seasons change and bring cooler and drier air, your skin can become dehydrated. The dryness, itchiness, flakiness, and cracking of ALL areas of your body can make the already miserable winter months even worse.

It also doesn't help that to keep warm, you may crank up your heat and take long hot showers. This can also contribute to the itchy and dry skin you experience during the winter months.

How often should I weigh myself?

Some believe that constantly checking in on your weight can keep you on top of your weight loss goals. However, it could also cause an obsession with losing weight, especially for young women.

Many experts believe that weighing yourself weekly can be beneficial.
