An Anti-Ageist Takes on Becoming an Older Woman
The media is dominated by the idea that aging is undesirable and difficult. However, it’s not an inconvenient thing. It’s a fact of life.

Aging is a natural human experience. It begins the moment we are born. Some part of your body will deteriorate and you will lose people you know. It doesn’t happen all at once.

Ageism is discrimination or stereotyping based on how old we think a person is. Success is often defined as the ability to look and move like a younger version of yourself. It’s filled with fear. It divides us.

Listen as Ashton Applewhite joins Dr. Pamela Peeke to discuss aging and how to change your views in an ageist culture.
