Magnesium: Calm in a Cup
Magnesium is responsible for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body, but many people don't realize just how important it is.

And, many people are deficient in this crucial mineral.

Signs of magnesium deficiency may include muscle twitching or cramps, low energy, fatigue, high blood pressure, and even irregular heartbeat. Enlisting the help of a registered dietitian will help you identify diet and lifestyle culprits that may be contributing to a deficiency. Blood tests and saliva tests may also be required to get to the root of the problem.

Susan M. Piergeorge, MS, RDN, LDN, joins host Lisa Davis to discuss the benefits of magnesium, as well as how to make sure to get optimal amounts in your daily regimen.
