EP 1,002B - The Outdoor Citizen: Get Out, Give Back, Get Active

To preserve the environment, a revolution must take place in which every person becomes a champion for nature and the outdoors.

That's according to John Judge, President, and CEO of the Appalachian Mountain Club. In his book "The Outdoor Citizen," he coins the term “Outdoor Citizen” as he delivers a remarkably persuasive argument for why we must all become citizens of the natural world, reconnecting with life’s most essential foundation, nature, and defending it, embracing it, and instilling in the next generation a keen interest in outdoor leadership.

Today he'll talk about committing to an outdoor lifestyle, how to make the outdoors the epicenter of our communities, and how to ensure our political representatives promote and enact environmentally friendly agendas.
