Eldred B. Taylor, M.D., believes that combining functional medicine, healthy lifestyle choices with conventional medicine can resolve many medical illnesses and improve the quality of life for patients. 

Dr. Taylor completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine where he served as chief resident.  He is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory University Medical School for over 12 years.  Dr. Taylor has provided hundreds of hours of continuing medical education throughout the United States and abroad on Hormonal Imbalances and Functional Medicine.  His mission is to motivate doctors and healthcare practitioners to reform the standard of care while improving patient care.

He and his wife, Dr. Ava Bell-Taylor, are the authors of the book, “Are Your Hormones Making You Sick”, which explains how to identify and treat sex hormone-related conditions. They are also the authors of the book “The Stress Connection” which explores the connection between stress and many commonly seen medical conditions.
