Bill started piano lessons at three years old. He grew up playing and performing and realized very early on that the discipline of playing the piano was also a behavioral healthcare practice. After seeking non-traditional audiences, he began to understand the true healing power of music. This includes Alzheimer’s patients and people struggling with physical or emotional injuries, stressed-out business people, parents, and caregivers. In 2011, he launched Music Care Inc, a for-purpose corporation that teaches practical ways music can be used for self-care. His work has received an Award of Excellence by the National Council for Behavioral Health, the equivalent of an “Oscar.”

The Healing Power of Music
Music is something most people enjoy but research shows it also has therapeutic and healing properties.
