There's no denying how awful flu and cold symptoms can make you feel. Symptoms can appear out of nowhere and knock you down on your butt for weeks. Even though colds and flu can have similar symptoms, there is a difference between the two.

For example, cold symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, cough, fatigue, and low energy. Flu symptoms include aches and pains, fever, dry cough, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, the chills, and a headache.

Is it possible that men are more dramatic when it comes to dealing with the common cold symptoms?

The "Man Flu" is a phrase used to describe men who over-exaggerate their cold symptoms and claim they have the flu instead.
