According to the U.S. Department of Labor, women occupy over 40 percent of the workplace. That's great... but it doesn't guarantee full equality. A 2012 study by the Institute for Women's Policy Research indicated the ratio of women's to men's median full-time earnings was 80.9 percent, a decline of more than one percentage point since 2011.
