Jennifer Mielke is a Holistic Health Coach focused on empowering patients to take ownership of their overall well-being. By helping them make sustainable dietary changes and bring awareness to their habitual eating patterns, and encouraging them to find balance in their outlook, she has had the privilege of supporting countless people as they make profound shifts in their health.

Jennifer is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and is a certified yoga teacher. Through years of study and practice, she has become a firm believer that we all have the innate ability to know what works for our own body. Instead of directing clients with standard lists of "should-do's" Jennifer seeks to act as a partner; sharing information and guidance, but ultimately allowing clients to rekindle trust in their own knowledge of what makes them feel best.
Avoid Decision Fatigue & Stay Healthy this Holiday Season
The holidays are upon us and with all of the late nights, festivities and extra food and libations, it becomes easy for you to forgo healthy habits.

In this segment of Naturally Savvy, wellness coach, Jennifer Mielke from the Eleven Eleven Wellness Center, joins Andrea and Lisa to provide an overview on staying well through the unhealthy holiday temptations, aside from simply exercising. She discusses such helpful tips as detoxing, taking probiotics and most importantly, getting proper sleep.

Also, Jennifer advises avoiding decision fatigue. Think about it... if you wait to make a healthy decision until right before you need to make it, it's much harder and even overwhelming. For instance, if you need to decide not to eat a piece of cheesecake, isn't it much easier to decide before the meal than after? Or, if you make a point to say, "I'm not going to stay out after 9:00 p.m. on weekdays," and you stick to that, imagine how much better you'll feel throughout the week.

It's something you may never really think about, but it makes so much sense and is very simple to embrace.
