In this edition of "Healthy Steps with Dr. Ginger," Dr. Ginger helps you jump-start your New Year's resolutions with some healthy tricks to stay on track and set some goals.

Some suggestions include:

  • Have a spouse or partner help keep you accountable
Keeping yourself healthy is a difficult task, especially when it comes to eating better. Do not let your stomach or cravings guide you. Get your mindset right and make sure you make simple changes which can help lead to lifestyle changes. Simple, healthier substitutes to satisfy a craving can help fill the void.

One small change at a time makes an impact and once you hit the 30- and 60-day marks, it becomes habitual. These changes can lead to disease reversal and a much healthier, happier lifestyle.

It does not need to be the New Year to make a change. You can start today!
