Kick Off 2015 with a Healthy Protocol
Whether you make New Year's resolutions or not, you CAN make the choice to kick off your new year with some healthy protocols.

Tracy Piper, founder of The Piper Center for International Wellness, joins Andrea and Lisa to share some of the things that she includes in her "Piper Protocol."

Her new book guides you through habits you can start to do on a daily basis to improve your health.

Here are just a few:

First thing in the morning, drink water with lemon and a bit of cayenne pepper to increase the circulation of your liver and flush out toxins.

Take a probiotic in the morning as well (on an empty stomach). If you're a person who doesn't like to take a bunch of pills right away in the morning, you can always put your probiotic in something like a smoothie. Probiotics not only help your digestive health, but they improve and boost the power of your immune system.

Make sure you're getting enough fiber. Fiber acts as a prebiotic, which is the "food" that probiotics live and thrive on. You can get your fiber from vegetables, or things like chia seeds and flax seeds. Fiber helps you to feel full so that you don't eat as much, and it helps to regulate and balance your blood sugar as well.

Enzymes are also important for breaking down bad bacteria and fungi, and reducing inflammation.

Enemas can be effective for a cleansing protocol and for flushing dangerous toxins. This is something that can be done in the comfort of your own home.

Tracy is also a big advocate of emotional cleansing. Oftentimes people are affected physically by the emotional path their experiencing. For instance, many times people will get diarrhea when scared or constipated when nervous. Breathing is a huge part of emotional cleansing.

Listen in as Tracy shares more about her Piper Protocol and how you can start incorporating some of these habits today.
