Combine the Best of Natural & Standard Medicine to Optimize Health
A lot of health myths have been busted in the last few years.

Salt is no longer bad for you.

Chocolate and coffee are now considered health foods.

And, sunshine isn't the enemy. In fact a recent study found that people who avoid the sun are twice as likely to die prematurely.

What's the biggest health myth being busted as of late?

Doctors DON'T know everything.

Traditional medicine is great for acute medical problems, such as heart attack or an emergency appendectomy.

Chronic problems, on the other hand, can be helped with a variety of medical measures: acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, herbs, and optimizing your nutrition.

Even heart disease can be addressed with some of these "non-traditional" methods.

Jacob Teitelbaum, MD, joins host Andrea Donsky to explain why standard medicine isn't always the answer, as well as how you can combine the best of natural and standard medicine to optimize your health.
