Susan Rappaport Susan Rappaport's own struggle with obesity and dieting is the inspiration behind her studio and fitness methods. After spending decades sedentary and dieting unsuccessfully, she wound up with an eating disorder and was powerless over her body.

Susan vowed to find a way to escape from dieting, and the only option was through fitness. With a newfound philosophy of Progress, not Perfection, this gentle equation ignited a transformation that changed her life forever and continues to be a proven formula for success in the lives of her students.

At NuYu Revolution Fitness Studio, Susan works with clients who are not only battling weight and diet issues, but those who are just beginning their own journey with exercise. Clients of all ages work together at their own level. Though some are nearly 50 years apart, they are all there with a common goal and support each other fully.
Heart Healthy Fitness Formula
It's almost February, and most people have already given up on their New Years Resolutions.

But, with American Heart Month on the horizon, you might want to start thinking about ways to get your heart healthy.

If you're heading down the path of unhealthy eating and the find yourself in a slump of not going to the gym, the saying "less is more" might be a workable formula for you.

Make a plan to dedicate 10 minutes a day to honor your heart health.
a) 2 minutes of breath discovery
b) 2 minutes of stretching
c) 2 minutes of raising the heart rate slowly
d) 2 minutes of proper posture and alignment
e) 2 minutes of strengthening

Every week, add two minutes to each two minute group, and in one month you will be well on your way to a healthy heart.
